Challenge:
The website has undergone a complete redesign. New pages and user flows have been implemented, with contributions from a team of 7 people who wrote the content, tracked issues, and implemented improvements. The goal of those changes was to improve the website's ranking and SEO.
Certain sections—such as events, the handbook, student work, and program updates—require ongoing maintenance to stay current. While the user experience continued to improve, the developer who implemented them struggled to keep pace. To address this, we needed a comprehensive issue-tracking and task management system.
The connection between this site and the Langara website should feel seamless and intuitive. This means we need to monitor any changes Langara implements to ensure links remain correct.
Role:
Supervise the overall maintenance of the website and ensure a heuristic evaluation (with the help of the UX students). Participate in content creation and revision of the designs and content.
An eCommerce solution for a growing small business, designed to make online shopping seamless and enjoyable for customers.
